caught with norco 10s

ok im not sure if this is the right spot for this but maybe someone has had experience with the law n can help my "friend" will just call him tom lol. ok so tom was walking to his car at night n a cop pulled up and tom had 13 norcos in his pocket he pulled them out stuffed them in his mouth and the cop didnt notice until he grabbed tom n had him on the hood and started questioning him and ofcourse he couldnt talk that good so the cop said spit out the crack lol tom got em down except for half of one and had pill residue all over my lips so i ended up getting arrested for two warrants i had n at the police station they searched tom better n 2 pills were stuck inbetween his belt n pants n dropped on the floor the cop picked em up and said what are these so tom told him he had a script which he didnt and the cop said he was gonna have them tested and charge me later i ended up going to the county jail doing 3 months and got out and still havent been charged with them its been a total of like 8 months now.do you think tom should be worried about being charged with them still? is there a certain amount of time they have to charge you? if anyone knows please help me out it bugs the shit outta me worried with what could happen. thanks everyone

 

you were in county jail for 3 months without getting charged? what did your record look like before this happened?

 

i was in county for 3 months for the 2 warrants i had not for the pills. i have a little bit of a record nothing with drugs though and i dont get why he said he would send them to the lab cant he just google the markings on the pill to figure out what it is.he told me when the results came back he was gonna charge me, i just dont know how long it takes to get stuff back from the lab or if he was just bullshitting and ate them himself

 

I don't think they are a scheduled substance and you weren't selling them just had them on your person so he probably decided not to pursue further since it sounds like you're doing a fine job of putting yourself in jail for him. Piece of advice, stop lying to cops so much.

 

Norco is the same as Vicoden, a Sched. III substance. But if it's been 8 months and you obviously aren't going to be charged, why bring it up?

 

i brought it up because he said he was gonna charge me when it came back from the lab.so i was curious if anyone knew how long it took for stuff to come back from the lab or if there was a certain amount of time they had to charge you. why dont u take a minute to read it b4 you put a smart ass comment on here i notice u like to talk shit to a lot of people on here, it is a forum so people tend to come on here to ask questions for advice or opinions and i dont think people wanna hear your smart ass and please if u see me post anything again dont respond to it, i dont care if u have a phd in whatever question i asked happydude60

yeah i was buzzed but thats besides the point and as far as im angry dude thats not it.its like why even answer with something like that if u dont have advice on what question im asking why even reply to it to be a dick and that guy replys to everyone like an asshole.so after 4 or 5 more replys 1 person actually gave his opinion on my question and the other 4 just wasted my time with comments like this. there are some awesome people on this forum and there are some fucks that i seem to attracted today

 

your original question didn't really seem worth answering, since nobody here can give you an answer. you didn't tell us where you live, so we have no idea what the laws are like near you, and obviously we can't read the mind of the cop that you were dealing with.

how is this an assanine post it was a serious question to see if anyone knew how long it took the cops to get pills tested and back from the labs and if they had a certain amount of time to charge you and im from cicero illinois about 2 minutes from chicago its cook county if anyone has ever had the same situation as me or knows the laws and labs and how they work.thanks

 

maybe nobody gave me an answer because they dont know did u ever think about that? if its such a dumb question can i ask you why u even bother wasting your time to respond back to it then and whats dumb to you might not be to other people.i personally think its a decent question and very serious and lots of people on here can probally relate to it in the fact that they probally carry pills on them they shouldnt have according to the government and might wanna know how the laws and labs work incase there ever get popped for possesion but thats only my opinion

 

I don't know anything about the statute of limitations on this, or how long they have to bring a case against someone for simple possession of hydrocodone. But I also live in a town in the Chicago area with a lot of drugs, gangs, violence, etc. and the cops are running around like a bunch of headless hens trying to keep a lid on things, and the result is that a lot of minor shit, such as possession of a few hydrocodone pills is simply let go and forgotten about. If after 8 months you haven't heard anything, chances are you won't. But if it's bothering you that much, just go down and see if you have any outstanding warrants.

 

thanks for the info maybe u are ok man lol. is possession of norcos a felony? or does it matter how many you have on you? yeah i got stopped over by cicero ave n harrison on the westside not sure if you know where that is but i threw 3 oxy 10s behind a van cause i was walking n the cops found em but didnt charge me cause like u said they have better stuff to do and thats whats nice about cook county u can get away with minor shit cause they would be arresting people every minute out there cause theres always illegal stuff going on every block in chicago

 

posting specific locations as to where you 'walk' or 'hang out' as a drug user..? are you new to the internet or something? or are you just mad young?

and yeah, the officer definitely just ate those norcos. 2 pills wouldn't be worth sending them to a lab or whatever the fuck else.

I never even heard of norcos before that methhead chick on intervention a few weeks back.

if you consider doing them for 5 years new to the pill game then I guess so? norcos aren't ever around here. I'm guessing they aren't that good if they're comparable to vicodin.

Well, Norco is really the same thing as Vicodin, it's just made by a different company. There are several different versions of it, such as Lortab and Vicoprofen. The difference is that Norco tends to have a lower amount of acetominophen in it.
