I very much enjoyed listening to the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, in Qawwali, Punjabi. Who together with Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam performed a song on the 'Dead Man Walking' movie theme, written & performed by Sean Penn. Since before his demise, Nusrat's nephew, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has become very popular and I also enjoy his performances. I haven't posted a link as there are so many to choose from on You Tube. All well worth checking out when time permits. And with so many various western famous guests. I also enjoy Afro Celtic Sound System, with the fusion of African & Celtic beats & sounds, which blend together perfectly for me.
