freebasing MDPV - Scale Precision and Risks

I was going to follow a link describing how to freebase with lye. My scale however is only good to .01 g and therefore some precision is going to be lost when weighing both the lye and mdpv. Does lack of precision possibly introduce a health risk since I am using a pretty toxic chemical in lye. I am not taking any risks if there are any

 

Forget about the lye man, you are freebasing a brand new stimulant that's very powerful, has had tons of addictions, overdoses, and psychotic breakdowns associated with it, and zero medical studies done on its effects on the human body. Not risky enough?
