If anyone is around the Los Angeles area and looking to see a great live show, the Wiltern has a couple coming up. It's a great venue and tickets aren't too expensive! By far my favorite venue in LA.

of Montreal with Deerhoof on February 20th. I've always wanted to see of Montreal live! I'm totally into their new album "Paralytic Stalks". It's probably their most experimental one- folk, bass-heavy, rock...it has a little bit of everything. There's no way I'm going to miss this show!

For a more relaxing, intimate show- Ingrid Michaelson will be there April 27th. Beautifully talented singer/songwriter. Listen to "The Way I Am"- enough said.

Anyone ever been to the Wiltern before or seen of Montreal/ Ingrid Michaelson live?

I used to live in LA before I moved to humboldt and the Wiltern was a jumpin venue for sure. I saw EOTO, Shpongle and String Cheese all at the Wiltern, it's a really fun spot. Another really cool venue is a few blocks away called the Music Box, they have a world famous d'n'b show there every thursday called RESPECT, and I saw FlyLo, Borgore and someone else I can't remember there.
