i was just wondering what the best way to potentiate tramadol is. ive taken 50mg of benadryl, with 62mg of codiene, and popped two tramacet, that being 75 mg. i havent used opiates for a while, so i have a pretty floaty buzz going on. i wanted to know if it is good to potentiate opiates with other opiates, or if i should just stick to benadryl potentiation? and which one is the safest/most effective? (i guess tramadol would be an opiod, since it has no opiate in it, but acts like an opiate)
I've gotten results from grapefruit juice with vicoden several times. It inhibits an enzyme that metabolizes the hydrocodone, so it hits a little harder and lasts longer. But I don't believe it works with codeine, because codiene metabolizes into morphine, so you don't want anything to interfere with it's metabolism. I really don't know if grapefruit juice will work with tramadol, but it may.
yeah the grapefruit enhances vicodins quite a bit not many people i think know that i always try to drink some whenever i pop vics its a good little trick there happydude 60. i heard benadryl n dilaudids are great has anybody ever tried that?the nurse in the hospital told me that many heroin addicts when they come in there and lie saying something is wrong to get a shot of dilaudid will say that its makes them itch so can they get a shot of benadryl and its supposed to be just as good as dope but it automatically puts up a red flag that your a druggy so i wouldnt suggest doing that they might cut you off
The best way is to use a CYP2D6 enhancer since the main metabolite, O-Desmethyltramadol, is many orders of magnitude more of an opioid agonist than Tramadol itself. That is, Tramadol is really a pro-drug. However, there aren't really any 'handy' CYP2D6 enhancers out there. One is the corticoid Dexamethasone. But I wouldn't recommend taking that to get a better Tramadol high as corticosteroids have horrible and dangerous side effects.
Take 400mgs of Tagamet drink grape fruit juice or WHITE grape fruit juice is better if you can find it and either DXM or Benadryl will also help but Tagamet is huge I take it everyday to help potentiate my daily opiates.
