How can the police do this? There are ALWAYS those in positions of power who will try to usurp the rights of citizens by passing laws and there have always been goons that will gladly bust heads ,jail people or kill them outright at the behest of the lawmakers. It's what they do. "THEY'RE JUST FOLLOWING ORDERS". They not paid to think---and they don't.

 

Pfft. Protest now in bigger numbers.

 

Kinda reminds me of the Hitler days in Germany where he had any opposition arrested. Funny how democracy can crumble into fascism.

Demonize protest in the selective manner that it's covered and it becomes very easy to get popular support for laws criminalizing the exercising of free speech... because no one is going to stand up for the rights of a bunch of "dirty irresponsible, thieving, long haired hippies".

The thing is and always will be that the constraints that people are all too willing to place on a group they've allowed themselves to be brainwashed into hating also apply to them.

I agree with this notion, I wonder how many people would be interested in petitioning for that bill to be passed.

 

But the house would pass a bill that says we can just go fuck off... They are going to do whatever they want.

It was Edgar Cayce who said that Jesus Christ is like a "big brother" to all christians. Like someone who went to the future and came back to help guide others.

Strange that when people think of "big brother" they dont think of Jesus.

"big brother" is only where consumers buy into tech that brings hymn into their lives. TV, PC, GPS, Chipped ID, all the little gadgets that are fashionable, but make pinpointing the users location a breeze.

You buy this stuff, but complain how its got you pegged.

Hopefully one day we'll see this era as the winding down of the Dark Ages....for in truth the Dark Ages have not yet ended. Look at crime, punishment, our most popular sports, corruption, bullying, war....have we really come so far from the era of the Roman Empire?

What we want is to put an end to the Age of Darkness and begin the Age of Light. It'll be apocalyptic as hell, but it will be well worth the fireworks......
