Lately I become very anti-social when I'm high, so I've just been doing it solo. I find it gets rid of a lot of paranoia too. Smoking alone in nature where I live is the best way for me. I guess I still can't avoid the burnt out feeling I sometimes get the day after, or getting too much munchies. I despise getting munchies...... well, only after I've over eaten...
I hate the burnt out feeling too, or waking up burnt out and tired from smoking the night before. I also tend to talk to myself a lot when high lol, it's not that bad though... unless people are listening
The munchies suck, seriously. Unless I'm actually hungry I don't need to be eating, and often the munchies aren't due to real hunger. Last I knew I can't drive high, however, I have driven after taking tincture made from ABV and I did ok...so it's possible that I might be able to, but I have to wait until summer to find out for sure. I'm waiting until I can get out to a friends property where I can drive around a bit cuz they have lots of land, and not worry about being on the roads and getting busted by the cops.
Exactly. It's so frustrating how cigarettes and alcohol are perfectly legal, yet weed isn't? Makes no sense... it should be completely backwards
The cottonmouth is the only part I don't like. Off topic but I love cruising after toking, just put on some good music and turn on my "autopilot"...
What I don't like about weed is it's reputation around my town. My high school literally has cops in both parking lots and across the street, watching before and after school, for example. Anyone else deal with this?
Thats what I think is the root of a lot of the anxiety people are talking about here. You get a buzz on weed and It's so much fun, they got you feelin' guilty... you're so paranoid someones gonna find out and bust you.. :hide: When I started getting stoned, though always careful not to get caught, I almost never felt paranoid. Pot was always big fun-time for me when I was a teen... but there wasn't the awareness in the general public about weed then either. Hardly any adults even seemed to know what it was, let alone smelled like. The only teachers in school that might know you were stoned were your drama, music or art teacher and they didn't care! hahaha When I graduated and moved out on my own, I had no problem affording an apartment, food, gas, and all my other expenses+ an ounce of weed every week, all on a minimum wage job! try that shit nowa-days.. It wasn't till the mid to late 80's when I believe shit really started getting evil....
well no, because completely backwards would mean that cigarettes and alcohol would be illegal, and that doesn't make sense either. in fact, the US tried making alcohol illegal, and it didn't exactly work out.
nothing. I dont get anxiety or paranoia with weed It is the only drug I've used that doesn't have any bad side effects.. thats why i luv it
I rarely experience cottonmouth or anxiety troubles as well happily. The biggest disadvantage of weed for me would be the costs and the laziness/lethargic feeling at times but you just have to time it right and this problem is solved as well. I don't like to drive a car stoned, I can get confused and don't want to take any risk on a public road. Yes, this is the case :2thumbsup: If you smoke before you finished some rubbish you know you had to it can come back at you when you're stoned. Same with risky locations, bad company etc.
I started smoking 3-4 years before ever getting a drivers license. Hell, I took my first driving test stoned! I'm much more calm and careful behind the wheel, dumshit drivers piss me off when I'm straight, when I'm stoned I just can't seem to take it personally. though with the distances I must travel here in Montana, sometimes I have to use a lotta caffiene to keep awake lol
When it is mainly highway or quite roads (like at night) I can actually enjoy it. But I know from experience that if I'm stoned and getting in a trickier situation (which you of course should be prepared for if you're going on the road) I can do the weirdest shit. I can also just loose my focus only for a second in the wrong moment so it's out of the question for me to make it normal behaviour. Traffic can easily suprise you here in the netherlands though. Small country, lots of cars. For some of my friends it is normal behaviour to drive stoned, and allthough I even feel save with most of them, certainly not with all
Same here. If I haven't smoked in a few weeks or more, then that first buzz can make driving a little , but soon muscle memory kicks in and I'm fine. After driving for 30+ years it is hardwired into the circuitry. I also enjoy the calming effect weed produces while driving, almost a necessity in the crowded freeways of Orange County, Ca. and lets not forget all the damn Vietnamese drivers around my area who seem too lose 112 I.Q. points when they start a car. Weed makes me respond to them like this:smilielol5: Without it I respond like this :cuss:
Yes I forget sometimes what it's like to be in REAL city traffic, I've live away so long...It would probably freak me out a little until I got used to it again.. I swear, driving cars in traffic is one of the most insane things we do!
Hehe, I know what you mean.. I'm a fucking Mario Andretti at heart anyway and I know my car very well, if knew there were no other cars on the road , driving stoned would be a blast!:auto: Thats it.
I love weed. Always gonna smoke the green, but i find when im REALLY stoned i'll just get zoned out. Kinda sucks when im really baked and sit next to a REALLY cute girl on the bus that i would normally chat up, but im just too out of it to at that point.
I actually believe cigarettes should be illegal, alcohol is fine but there's to much of it... If weed was legal and widely accepted i'm sure the amount of people drinking alcohol would go down a bit anyways, i would say the same about cigarettes but maybe not seeing as how they're addictive... but people could use weed to help quit? And yes, prohibition didn't go over so well
