so yeah, a pretty old thread. that's about how rare tree planting is in the USA for Americans. but I am an American, and I plant trees, and I hire Americans. I am just googling around looking for nice corners of the internet to advertise a little bit in. I need one or two new people. it's brutally hard, outdoor work, with sleeping outdoors on top of that. about $9~$12 / hour. North Carolina and West Virginia now through most of April. I also know a contract in Pennsylvania that will be hiring all the way through May. experience planting trees (seedlings, 500 ~ 1,500 per day) is not necessary, but some sort of physical work experience is.
