that's really not true. even if you are uber-christian and believe that the world is only 6000 years old, that means that 2/3 of human history took place before jesus existed. and even during and immediately after his life, i don't think the word spread nearly as quickly as it would now.

 

And since Shaq's missed 5000 free throws, you can defiantly bet he shots better.

 

he wasn't god, but as much as saying he'd rather hang out with athiests then fanatics, its a safe bet whatever god there is probably would too.

i'd love to live somewhere that most people, when they thought about faith or belief, neither christianity nor islam would be the first things that came to mind.

Well, you could start the list with his parents, his apostles, the guys on the building sites, Pilate...

Whoever he really was, if he actually existed, no-one who actually knew him would have called him Jesus because that was a later translation [from the Greek ? - dont quote me on that though].

His name would have been something like Yeoshua, son of Yusef and Miriam.

Nope. Alas, I think you'd have to be from a third-world country to be that fortunate, and really, that would just cancel out the awesomeness and leave you feeling boring and...poor. The price to live in a modern day country with modern laws and "freedoms"? You gotta listen to self-righteous zealots run their heads and use scare tactics to try to force you to believe the way they do. Fair trade? Eh, I guess I'll take it.
