I would've replied in the thread Sticky'd at the top of the forum, but it was closed. Anyways, I disagree with this rule very strongly. I resent that any serious writer would say "If you can put work into creating the poetry. Then it shouldn't take more than a few seconds of creativity to Make A Proper Title [sic]" (on a side note, somebody who's in charge of the poetry forum should probably be able to compose a decent sentence). The fact is, a title is one of the first things a reader learns about the poem, and therefore is one of the most important things about it. It is akin to the physical appearance of a human being. It's the face of the thing, for god sakes! As somebody who has been writing for a very long time, I can tell you titles can take a very, very, very long time to come up with. A good title can make or break a piece of literature! I worked on a novel for two years, and I didn't have a title for it until an entire month after I finished writing it. I take writing very seriously, and I am outraged that somebody thinks you can just slap a title on any piece of work and it'll be just fine. That is all.
The most important rule is "Don't Disrespect The Moderators". You can title your posts so that they are distinguishable one from another. That's what we are looking for.
