It's as simple as it sounds. Im a chronic pain patient who is 21 and was on tramadol for a good while which did nothing to manage my pain but now I am with a good pain management doc who scripts me 120-10/325 hydrocodone/APAP and that works pretty well. I supplement morphine when I can and that works better so I am curious what works best for you. So far for me it's morphine. As far as overall treatment and relief of pain morphine seems to work best I would need 15mgs 3-4 times a day plugged or like 60mgs 3-4 times a day orally. This would be ideal for me what works best for your pain?

Mine would be Dilaudid, but Hydrocodone is what I've got.

Fentanyl patches work pretty good on the pain,,but just slapping a sticker on my chest or arm for a couple of days is pretty sweet too.

When I was prescribed opioids initially for my migraines (I wasn't in PM, just my family doctor...) I was scripted Tramadol and occasionally Hydrocodone. I found Tramadol to fucking suck for pain even at like 300 mg. Hydrocodone was alright if you took like 20 mg. But I could get my hands on Oxycodone occasionally illicitly and I found that it was incredibly effective for pain relief, especially my migraines.

That's funny cause if I have a headache and I take hydrocodone a lot of times it will still be there but if I pop a couple of ibprophen with it it goes away. Pain killers never helped my headaches at all but then again they weren't migraines either.

Yeah. I also found that NSAIDS were just as effective as low doses of opioids, even for my migraines. So, what I did was take Meloxicam (a very strong prescription NSAID) for my migraines that occurred like every three days. But once a week, when I would get a really bad one, I supplemented the Meloxicam with (usually) 100-150 mg of Tramadol.

I have been in pain management for 3 years since a care accident. I have back and neck injuries I also had migrine headaches that pre dated the accident. I am perscribed percecet for pain. It is interesting how diferent people respond to pain meds in terms of what works and what doesn't. I think I am one of the few people that get relief from migrine headaches with percecet. This only works if I take it just as the migrine starts. If I wait too long then nothing will help execpt sleep.

Ugh god I'm glad I don't get migraines but yea morphine seems to work best for my pain but I'm 21 so I doubt morphine will happen any time soon hah in the mean time I take the morphine when I can get it but the hydrocodone helps but doesn't help anywhere near as much as the M but like we were saying everybody is different.

It's the same with me. Hydrocodone is basically worthless for headaches, at least for me, even the 325mg acetominophen. The only thing that works on headaches for me is aspirin.
