Does the first one always break?

So i am new to smoking and i recently bought my first piece and i have been told by a few people that the first one always breaks. Is this true?

 

^Not necessarily, but often people JUST getting their first piece may not take care of it as much as would people more experienced having pieces....im not sure though. Also the longer you have a piece and the more action is sees the more likely something poopy is to happen to it.

 

My first has not broken in the 19 years I've owned it. However, it's metal and if that broke I'd be like :dizzy2:. I've never broken a piece.

Ive actually never broken one of my pieces.....the police have, parents back in the day, and also i have accidentally dropped someones slide for their bong before..

 

There's obviously no magical rule saying your first piece will break... just as long as you take care of it, it will be fine, like any other piece.

 

It wont break if you don't want it to..unless someone breaks it for ya...

I was rollin on ecstasy one night smoking out my apartment window. I was using my cousin's pipe and i dropped it out of the window. It fell a good 30+ feet to its death on the sidewalk. Man i felt so bad that night. My cuz was playing computer games and I almost started to cry. Fucking XTC getting my emotions out of control. He told me not to worry but i felt so bad. It was like we lost a part of the family.

 

Mine did.. actually, my mom had it and was using and it (very carefully.. if you knew my mom you'd know what i mean, she's really anal about EVERYTHING) and it just broke. my first bong too, my mom was trying to clean it and broke the slider.
