Personally I love bodyloads because this is where I can practice surrender and then trips become very nice.

What kind of bodyload do you get from lucy? and is it comparable to any other psychedelic?

I get a floating on air feeling when I walk, almost like my legs are carrying me without me feeling them at all. When I sit down, and I pay attention to gravity I feel myself falling into the chair as long as I pay attention to it. I compare that to shrooms, though shrooms make me not able to stand like I'm drunk.

LSD has a very light body load, I get some excess stimulation and minor muscle tension sometimes but other than that its practically negligible. LSD does produce very euphoric and interesting waves that course throughout the body and psychedelic perceptions of the body tho.

I could probably make remote comparisons to the bodyload of other psychedelics but it's kind of its own thing.

Actually it depends on dose, as does most of LSD's effects.
With low-moderate (50ugs-200ugs) doses you get bodily sensations such as GB described, enhanced energy, slight muscular tension, slightly queasy stomach, etc.

With higher dose (250+ugs) you get almost the opposite effect. Muscular dis-coordination, heavy feeling, loss of fine motor skill, etc.. With high doses during the peak it is very common for a person to experience "couch lock" for lack of a better term. You just want to sink into something soft and comfy and find it difficult to move your limbs precisely and move in more exaggerated ways. This usually passes as the peak effects wane and often you are found to have a renewed sense of energy and vitality as your mind is awash with all the internal and external stimuli you've just/are experiencing.

At least that has been my experience and from all the documentation I've read is fairly common.

Do you feel the couch lock effect is strictly dependent on dose?

I've definitely had doses over 250 ugs where I was out and about walking around while peaking and I've read many reports here where posters were walking around on 10 strips and above but I have been couch locked probably somewhere around that dose range as well. I felt the couch lock almost equally had to do with set and setting or the headspace at the time as it did with dose and that was sort of what I was referring to, albeit perhaps somewhat vaguely as psychedelic perceptions of the body.

    Good point :2thumbsup:
As with most effects of LSD, it does matter where, when and with who.
I have gotten the "lump o' flesh couch lock" from LSD mostly when in a setting that accommodated it, as did a lot of the clinical studies of which I referred.
So Yes, I would have to agree with you that setting is an important factor in the equation.

Hard to add anything to that description. My last time (recently) on 2 dots ~300ug I had very little negative effects on co-ordination or body control, mostly just a wonderful slight "buzzy" feel that came and went in subtle waves. More or less what I usually experience.
For me I think it's very set/setting dependent. I dropped while out and about, came up while hiking along the beach. I stopped a few times and at times it was hard to get back up, mostly due to being totally absorbed into what I was tripping on. But once on my feet it was quite easy to cruise along, hiking over rocks and navigating.
Moreso than any of the handful of things I've explored, the nature of an LSD experience is set and setting dependent. I have had times where the last thing I wanted to do was get up from the floor or chair. This last time I hiked several miles.

I always have interesting spatial body-sensations on Lucy. Hard to tell how big my body is, how far away my feet are, stuff like that.

I think it definitely depends how you start the trip. If you begin peaking on a couch, getting up and stuff may be difficult, but if you are out on a walk from the start then I think you can easily continue to walk.

My shrooms trips have pretty much all been couch locked. I don't mind this because I close my eyes and just go inwards. I wonder how an completely internal shroom trip differs from an internal acid trip, only one way to find out.

I have noticed that if I get some good exercise (like a long hike) in before I ingest the shrooms then I can walk around.

I read the following quote from the bluelight forums by someone and it resonates:
