Been watching a lot of them lately. Last one I watched this morning was 'Don't Look in the Basement!'... Horrible but entertaining. I think Blacula has to be the WORST movie I've seen so far. House on Skull Mountain was cool... :2thumbsup::2thumbsup:

Don't know how much Sherlock Holmes power you guys have but, in case you can't tell, I love low-budget horror movies. Here's a solid three to add to your Netflix queue: Let Sleeping Corpses Lie Great Zombie film. Very Counter-Culture with deep messages about how clumsy humans are with their environment. I have to warn you, this film feels...dangerous. It has that, House-on-the-Left, jagged cinematography you only get in the 70s. The main char also reminds me of one of the Beatles, can't think which...possibly Ringo. Also, for a Zombie film it does something no zombie film today bothers with...it explains why the zombies are hostile after being resurrected. Deep Red(Profundo Rosso) Can't recommend this one enough. It is the Hamlet of 1970s Italian Horror. It's nice and creepy, plenty of 1970s gore, has a super chill soundtrack not to mention also having the privileged of being a whodunnit(Giallo film). And no, there's no way you'd guess it no matter your Sherlock powers. Cat o Nine Tales Same Director as Deep Red, another Giallo film and guess what? This one is good too. If you think Deep Red was worth a damn, I encourage you to watch ALL of Dario Argento's movies. -BlkBks
