save them for when you have some back pain or a toothache

they work pretty good for minor pain

Yeah... do what BBAD says... Just keep them for when you need them for pain. They aren't any good for anything else.

I didn't know they made tylenol without acetaminophen I must of lost that memo, anyways, ust crush them drop some alcohol on a spoon, so it dissovles and drink it then wash down with a couple shots, you'll be fine.

i've gotten a TINY buzz from 2 or 3 tylenol 3s. i think i also had two cups of black tea, so maybe caffeine added to it.

    they aren't very recreational though

Each one contains 30mg of Codeine and 300mg of Tylenol. I looked at an opiod comparison chart and found that 30mg of Codeine is equivalent to about 2.5mg of Hydrocodone, or about 0.75mg of Oxycodone. So 3 would be the equivalent of 7.5mg of Hydrocodone or 2.25mg of Oxy. You can catch a little buzz from it, but not that much.

I used to love Tylenol 3 back when I had no tolerance whatsoever. They were my introduction to opiates. I remember slipping on the ice one winter and breaking a couple ribs, and my doc had me on those for 2 months. I used to drink beer with them, and I would always get sick at first. After about 3 beers and 2-3 Tylenol 3's I'd start to feel nauseous and then I'd throw up, but from then on I'd be ok. I'd stay up all night drinking beer and popping those things. And I wouldn't need to take more than 6-7 in a night. As I recall it was a really euphoric, energetic buzz, kind of like 60-70mg of Hydro is now.

taking 1800-2100mg of acetaminophen with alcohol is so, so bad for your liver.

I know. But that was a long time ago, and I didn't keep it up for very long.

I dunno, to each his own. I personally enjoy codeine very very much. Doesn't mean you will though. I like to keep my tolerance low anyways.

Tylenol IS Acetaminophen. So Tylenol with Codeine is Codeine + Acetaminophen. Or am I severely missing something??

Nope, you're right on. As far as I know, there is no plain codeine tablet. Laws dictate that codeine is always coupled with APAP or NSAIDs.

Yea might as well save them for a rainy day. I have a pretty good tolerance but I would need at least 300mgs to feel I had even taken anything and around 500mgs for the desired glowing euphoric good feeling. If you can find some form of promethazine this would greatly help you feel the effects or drink some 100% pure grapefruit juice with them to add a slight potentiation. <<That is not the way to spell that. I don't think. God chronic pain is terrible. In so much pain I can't think strait and that's after my morning hydrocodone and bowl of strong purple herb. Wish I had some codiene to throw on top.

This isn't true hit wiki. I've had them before. There 50mg-100mg extended release tablets called codiene contin. Not very good or strong but if you took like 5-6 they weren't bad.

If you are going to take t3's, take them with Advil or Aleve for an improved experience.

Yeah. I have seen these on wiki as well but never actually heard of anyone prescribed them simply because it would be logical to move up to the Hydrocodone-level of pain relief if more than 30 mg of Codeine is required.

It would be a fun collector's item however haha.
