Is heroin available as a pharmaceutical form in the UK?

Hi,

I was wondering about this from a completely legal matter as I have researched about the use of pharmaceutical heroin in Denmark. I live in London and in the past I have been addicted to oxycodone and other opiates. I am currently living in London and I truly believe I have some form of organic dysfunction I have been only happy in my life under the use of opiates. The research I have seen shows that pharma grade heroin can be sustained in the long term, so long as it is monitored.

Anyone know if heroin is available in the UK or in London in any pilot studies or licenses? I am willing to give it a try as methadone is too problematic.

I think i read once that it can be prescribed but it is HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY unlikely, and near to no one has it.....then again that could have been a fantasy.

Also OP, i dont know about your life or whatever but seeing as you have been addicted to oxycodone and other opies, it probably wouldnt be the best idea for you to start some kind of heroin maintenance. Dope addiction is NO joke, take it from me, and the many others on these forums who have suffered.

 

I used to hear rumors about cancer patients from the US going to the UK for treatment because they could get pharmaceutical Heroin, but I don't know if that's really true or not. Probably not.
