Green delusion seeps through the brain
This feeling, could it be what keeps me sane?
    (Are these beliefs really sane?)
Try and decide as the toxin flows through the membranes

What have you done on this hallowed ground?
This scene is where we flee the town
    Suddenly it shall surround,
    Us all.

Why should we not give in?
My dear, ‘tis only a mortal sin
What do you think about that ruby red?
Is it all just in the head?
(Finally, something to help me connect
    This being of crazed beauty)

Can you see what surrounds us all?
One day it shall make us fall
But is that not all but a tad
    Macabre?

    This is everything
    And similarly it’s nothing
Or could it just be the longing breath
    Of insanity?
