Need advice on first date, first kiss, first everything

I'm a bit late to the game, seeing as I'm 31 years young and only just realising that I like women.
I've met a woman on a friendship basis only through another forum and it turns out she is "heteroflexible" whatever the hell that means! That's what it says on her profile.
We met up for a coffee a few months a go when I happened to be visiting her town. It was short and sweet. Then about a month ago I was back in her city again on business and we went out together for drinks and clubbing along with a group of people who share similar interests. We got along like a house on fire and have been mailing and texting each other daily since then. From our interactions I can tell there is an erotic attraction between us.
Anyway, I plan to visit her town again soon. I want to invite her to my hotel alone for a drink. It's going to have to be me that makes the first move as she is quite submissive in the bedroom, and in life in general, from what I can gather... What the hell do I do? I've never been with a woman before. She is 10 years older than me, but I think she thinks I'm more wordly than her and she's definitely expecting me to make the first move.
Apart from getting her drunk, does anyone have any suggestions? Advice? Personal anecdotes?

 

All you have to do is act on your instincts, and never second guess yourself. There is nothing to be scared of, so go for it.

 

I'd avoid getting her drunk ... occasions like this really call for you both to be sober, so you know that it's not JUST the drink acting ... and so you can remember it all afterwards, of course!!

I got that problem too around here - I'm 36 but haven't met any women around here at all that are reliable. I'm not big into bar scene - you never see them again and they're mostly burn outs. Descent ones all married - the rest and the real young ones plain stuck up. Strange city here in Charleston,SC. I sure feel like going to the beach today and kissing groups of young women all over their body from top to bottom.
