Well I'm about to have a lot of firsts. First time to be put on an IV and my first time to go under anestisia. It's a lower back epidural that is a steroid injection not cortisone but something similar. Wish me luck guys I'm In the waiting room now and I am so nervous! Hopefully this will help with my pain.

I had 2 of them and they don't hurt that bad. They kept me up all night after the injections though. Some steroid side effect.

They didn't give me any anasthesia either, lol. They just stuck that thing in my lower back.

Yea fuck that I just got done and am at home in bed dealing with bad lower back pain and nausea which is apparently normal so I'm just chillin. Just took a hydro so hopefully that will knock out some of the lower back pain.

It was in 2000 when I had mine. I believe it was Prednisone, but it's been awhile, so I'm not 100% sure. I know they had me on Prednisone pills for several days. Man, I gained maybe 15 pounds on those pills, lol. And no, they didn't help. The shots either.

Hope you are feeling better today. I had several ephdural injestions and facet blocks. Sorry I didn't see your post eariler to give you support. I found that ice at the injection site helps with post op pain. For me next day had increase in pain. Anyway I hope you get relief. I know how bad back pain can disrupt your life. I just had a raido frequancy ablasion. I will send you positive thoughts for a quick recovery.

Thank you for all of yalls support. It meets a lot. I just got up and my back is feeling much better as far as the post op pain. It still hurts but it seems like the shot is starting to kick in. I'm on methlprednisolone right now which I'm guessing a stronger version of prednisone cause I have already been on that and this is a whole different pill for sure. The first ones were 10mg reg. prednisone these are 4mg methl whatever ya known. Thanks for all of the support once again and I hope we all have a pain free weekend!
