Seriously! I'm getting so annoyed with them in my college town. They added a ton of officers and patrol cars, and now there's a shitload of freaking undercover state cops. they're doing it because of some shooting that didn't involve any students but we're gettting punished. so far i've paid 185 in parking/speeding violations. Stupid shit, seriously, I pay like 400 to park and when theres none available I get a ticket. no. freaking like 300 people have gotten underages or disorderly conducts. the students are petitioning because it's stupid. we can't even have decent parties anymore because they're all busted up. PA schools had their budgets cut by so much and this isn't helping enrollment. when my tuition doubles... I'm gonna be so fuckingg pissed. YOU CAN GET AN UNDERAGE WALKING HOME. like. with barely any alcohol in your system, these cops stop people who are randomly walking in the evening and ask them if they have ben drinking, and then hand out underages or public drunkenness. That's STUPID. and they go into dorm rooms and give underages. My friend in the ROTC program got one. that's STUPID. sit there and tell us not to drink & drive, and then give us underages when we walk.
What are they supposed to do, stop violent criminals? Then they'd get hurt, this is easier and more safe. Plus you don't want that nice uniform getting dirty now
That's the way a police state works. You have to intimidate the populace to be able to control them. Governments at all levels in all countries have been working on this premise for many years. The illusion of freedom is what they try to keep for those sheeple that believe in the state, the ones who are too apathetic or too stupid to realize it or try to change it, where those that see what's going on get pissed off and feel powerless. Just imagine what it must have been like to live in Germany in the 1930s as you saw a maniac gain control, but you were intelligent enough to see through the propaganda . .. you were powerless to change a thing. Today's governments have read the manuals and they're following the plans laid down by that same megalomaniac and they are succeeding. There isn't a lot we can do. We have to try to get this crap to change from the top down, it won't work from the bottom up. It's this kind of thing that is spawning the occupy movements and the militias, but the government doesn't care, as long as they maintain control. You just have to try to find a way to hide in plain sight. It ain't easy.
damn dude that fucking sucks. where im at in PA a small town there is like NO enforcement because we are covered by york police since its considered york county but they all seem to be kept busy in york, i love it.
I dont have that problem in my small PA town either just when I go to school. The cops around here are busy busting up crack houses and heroin dealers. lol
i can imagine, school areas are pretty heavily populated is there much to do around your school like is it bustling? edit: ahh and youre by Pittsburgh, lots of crime there x.x
its a really small town to start with, and with students in its really overpopulated.. the roads were not meant for heavy traffic like that AT ALL. what I've heard the problem is is that Cal pays all these guys from the city to come play football, and then they bring their whole possies and control the drugs. at least that's what I've heard from multiple people. its just stupid
