After nearly forty years in post-production (sorry, it took so long, we got high) the movie that Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters shot in 1964 when driving their magic schoolbus across America, scattering acid freely, inventing tie-dye and other emblems of the hippie movement, meeting Kerouac, Ginsberg, Timothy Leary, Ram Dass and generally freaking out squares and starting a cultural revolution, has finally been released.

It's called 'Magic Trip'. You can find it on movie-streaming websites (not sure if I'm allowed post a link here). You've gotta watch this if you've any interest in hippies or psychedelia

Well I just watched it. Its good - actually better production than I had expected considering these people were wrecked most of the time. Its very interesting seeing them in the flesh. I have read so much about these people - first in Electric Kool Aid Acid test and then in a couple of other books. Sort of fictional characters - but they were real! And now you can see them and hear them.
