I've often thought about what I would do if I was bush when terrorist attacked. I think if I was president, I would have readied the troops and then made a speech. I would say, "We have been attacked and I am the President. People often say that my job is to do everything in politics in our country. However, my main job is to direct the military. There is a problem. The problem is that we have to stand up against terrorism but also provide peace. I am sure there will be a large amount of you who will be against the war and an ever larger amount for the war; but our opinions have to be heard. I am for trying to make peace with the Terrorists because violence against violence can not stop violence. However, I will have several angry citizens if I do not do what the will of the nation wants. etc... etc... Take a vote." I feel that someone should do the same when it comes to marijuana. Say something like... "There is only one way for legalization to work in America. The main way is to persuade corporate America that they can make money off of this. This is the only way. We can not have people voting for my ideals and then not following through. If we legalize marijuana we have to have people growing a limit of X amount of plants a year. If we legalize marijuana and you all go grow your own plants, then there is not even money made to pay off this war on drugs."
