boredom is created by equating conventionality with virtue. it would seem simple enough to avoid doing so. the principal obsical is the influence and demand for attention of other sapient persons. thus i am only board when i am around other human persons distracting my from enjoyment of any of the diversity of things i find interest in. i find sports and soap operas, equally numbered amongst such distractions.
