Are you weird? We all have a bit of weirdness in us and it is a very powerful force. If you can accept and develop your unique weirdness you can move through life as a free spirit. It's the first step on the Bohemian path. However, there are a lot of narrow minded conservatives who see weirdness as a threat to the society that they control and will try to bully you into suppressing your weirdness (soul) and covering it with a thick layer of their shit. When this happens, the weirdness continues to grow within and, having no way to express itself, will eventually explode. The trigger for the explosion of suppressed weirdness is something percieved as "weird" in another person or group i.e. "long-hairs", "queers" "greenies" etc. Ironically, "weirdos" are not a threat to society but are essential for its growth. No progress is made from the middle, it always comes from the fringes. Jeez, come to think of it, we would still be aquatic bacteria unless some weirdo tried to move out of the swamp! So, the next time someone calls you a weirdo, you can have a little smile to yourself. Oh yes, don't force your own weirdness onto others... that would be acting far too "normal". Be weird my freinds, very weird.
I've been claimed as a freak for years. The way I dress, the way I think, my beliefs, the language I use, everything. I take my knowledge from psychedelics, different cultures, questioning the morals of western society and government, conspiracy, and the world as it is around me. People just see me as strange because I'm open minded and not the stereotypical conservative conformist that mainstream society expects me to be. And what people don't understand is that there's many more people out there like myself. But of course, the term ''weird'' is just what every society out there claims to be abnormal or out of place from their average structure. Many Americans see eastern religion, culture, dress, and lifestyle as strange or even offending, mostly due to the complication of misunderstanding. And it's also the same with them. They look at America and see us as strange or different, only because we, as a society, are completely on the opposite end of the spectrum. So a lot of it is just misunderstanding, being close-minded, and not being open or prone to thinking of what life is like in their shoes. The list goes on.
Im considered weird for not wanting to base my future life and studies around money but around the things i like , interest me, make me happy and i want to do. (study philosophy)
I've always been weird. I was homeschooled where other children went to public school. I've always kind of lived on the fringe, and I think for myself instead of letting society tell me what to think. I guess that's kind of weird. I love being weird.
