I am a 25 year old guy who is would love to find a commune, farm, etc. to permanently live on. I don't have money to contribute, but if I could find a commune or similar place, I would work very hard to be useful. This world is far too stressful and materialistic for my liking. I'd love to live in a community away from all that craziness. I would prefer something as close as possible to Los Angeles, although I wonder if such a place exists in or close to such a big city. I really hope I can find one, because living and working in one would be a much more enjoyable and rewarding life than being in the city. Any good info is greatly appreciated!
Man you won't find anything close to LA. Im headed for an eco village in Oregon soon. I kno how ur feeling though.
That's what I'm worried about. I'm more than willing to travel to one (it'd be great to travel with someone though), but only if I was sure (or at least pretty sure) that place would accept me.
