revelation- i have been seeing artemis...help please

Hello everyone,
I have no idea if anyone can help me with any aspect of this but here goes...

I have been having what I used to call and others call a spirit guide. She said her name was amore at first although it was a little jumbled in her speech.
For 2 1/2 years I saw her everyday and learned about her.

She as I found out was alot like me, liked being outside around woods and animals and swamps, water etc. I always thought that the natural environment shouldn't be changed for humans etc.

Well i've been reading about shamanism and called her the past two weeks my spirit guardian.

And NOW last night I meditated for the first time in awhile. She had me follow her through the dark leading me with a candle and a string which I kept my hand on. We went into some water in a cave and came up through the water seeing a bright bright light. There we came out of the water the light so bright I had to squint. On the stone in front of us was a man wearing kings clothing and was extremely powerfull, so powerfull it was extremely scary and I thought he was a demon. It scared me so much, he didn't look scary, he just seemed so powerfull. Amore (my guide) next to me told me to stay which was weird because usually she is so light about things. She stayed and bowed to this man. I did the same and he placed his hand on us saying "protector of light" 5 or 6 times. We both then stood up after he said things I can't remember and Amore told me her real name. Artemis.
After that she led me out and we sat by a open window as she looked at the moon she drew its light onto her hands and placed it on her chest then mine.
I looked up Artemis and found she has many of the same beliefs I have and it seems like she is me. That meditation was so intense! The more I let go oh things the more she led me.

So i'm not sure what to take from this other than my guide/guardian/godess finally told me who she was but it seems more than that, it seems like shes part of me...?
BTW I never took greek mythology

You might want to do some research on Patron/Matron Gods and Goddesses looking particularly at "Archetypes".

I'm still trying to figure out what "protector of light" is supposed to mean.
Anyone have any thoughts?

What does it mean to you? No one can interpret things drawn from your subconscious better than you can.
