^This is a pick of 'Big Benny' the crane. Intel has been boasting that it is "the biggest stationary crane in the world". Or it was, anyway. They tore it down just before I started working there.

Here is a cool video of it (while it was there). I heard it took over 200 semi trucks to haul it's parts off to wherever it went. I only got to see what was left of the base of it on my first day of work there (the base can be seen at 0:53 in the video).

BTW, Obama visited the site and used the crane (and jobsite) as a backdrop for one of his speeches.

 

squirrels are on holiday 24/7..they do fuck all except screw,eat and sleep..i should be so lucky...

i never saw one of those! we have a lot of black ones. not so many red that i've seen, more gray. i grew up thinking black ones were rare. i don't know if they were rare where i lived or where we went to camp or just rare in general. something to ask my dad when i see him tomorrow! he knows EVERYTHING about almost EVERYTHING!

Watching the two grandkids again today. If it doesn't rain I'll be taking them outside to play...

 

My 18-year-old son departed this morning on his bus trip across the US. He walked to the train station to catch the first train to Boston, then from there he took a bus to NY City.

my 4 yr old grandson totally swindled me and got me in trouble...i brought him to school monday cause mom was out of town...which meant i had to supervise him getting ready..he is allowed to pick out his own clothes and he did a great job of it

or so i thought...that night his mom gave me the lowdown...kids are not allowed to wear logos of any kind and/or depictions of digital media of any kind...and they are very strict making kids change into loner clothing if they get busted...its a private school so the can do that

turns out junior 100%knew which shirts he could or could not wear....
