    Thank You, Perilless!

As you have interest to visit, I post 4 more Photographs. Why do you wish to visit? I can guess for 3: Yalta, Sevastopol, maybe Balaklava Bay also? You must visit when you have this chance! Good Luck!

Wow , what beautiful pictures . They are stunning . The first church looks like it was built right into the carved out side of the cliff and has a templar cross on the post on the right . The third church looks very , very old . And the next to the last picture over looking the waterway and town , wow just beautiful . I have done some reading on the cold war under ground sub base there. Would love to tour it. Thank you for posting them . What a neat place .

Thanks again. Keep them coming. Guess I'm goofy, but 44 years in roofing has me looking at some of those towers and wondering how they set up to do them, what materials, safety precautions were taken, ect. I'm doomed to look at roofing on almost all buildings I see. aaaaaaaaaaaaa

    Thank You, guys!

Yes, you are correct. This is called Bakhchisaray Cave Monastery, built Monastery and Caves into the cliff. Unfortunately, Photography is not allowed when you past this gate. Inside is very beautiful. 2nd Photograph in 2nd post is view from the Cave Monastery, which is okay, but not of the Monastery inside.

    Wow! Gorgeous photo's indeed!
The picture of the valley, was that a site of a battle in the Crimean War (1854-56)?

    Thank You! ))

This valley is Bakhchisaray. I am not certain, however, I believe no war was here. Included are Photographs of Balaklava, famous place of 'Charge of the Light Brigade'. 3rd Image, 3rd Post.
