Hey, guys. I have decided to go for it and I ditched the brush eleven days ago. I'm so happy I decided to do this! I'm loving this slow process. It's been really interesting to watch my hair changing. First it was just tangled. Then after a few days my hair started kinda sectioning itself... twisting itself into ropes. Now the naturally sectioned ropes are starting to knot up and I feel that the ropes are getting itchy and wooly feeling. :)
I was already no 'poo a few months before starting this. But I found that the ACV was too conditioning for the little dreadlets. So I have been just using a BS wash every few days ( I know that's a lot of washing, but I live in Florida, it's hot, and I run.) And I sometimes spritz with a homemade unrefined sea salt spray. I'm so happy to be going neglect.

And now the part that everyone actually opened this thread to see. The baby dreads! There is not much to see, not that I can capture in photos anyway. I'll have to post again in a month or two.

A day of not brushing, so, before, really.

    Hmm.

This could be great, or a fiasco.

You have nice long hair, that should help. Don't worry about washing every few days, I do as well. As long as they dry out properly in between washing it's fine.

    Thanks for the encouragement, everyone!

I kinda think that's true for everything in life, right? ;)

I'm gonna post this because it's a better picture of the hair...

Looking back on it, it's amazing how fast the progress happens sometimes. Next thing you know you'll have a head full of long locks and be missing that knotty mess stage.

No rushes. Every part is the best part.

You betta stick around and post pictures. Dready section dead as whitne.....haha never mind. I'm drunkrambling.:sultan:
