I know there's a few threads about CS on here already, but they're pretty old, not sure I should rez them.

Anyway, I just moved back to the Springs and am a different person than I was before... I used to think this wasn't a bad city, but there's not much to do. Anyone have some fun places to go, cool people to meet or things to do around here?

I moved away from the Springs nine years ago and, as I understand, some things have changed, but there's always Manitou and then up the pass to the mountains. Have you tried Poor Richard's restaurant in the three hundred block of Tejon in down town?

There is not much to do here unless you are really into hiking or bike riding which is also becoming minimal. Downtown near Acacia Park is where most of the liberals hang out as well as in Manitou and around Colorado College. But from my prospective, I really dislike the sort of people that live here and intend to move away pretty soon. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine, depending on what your interests are.

Nature and Mainitou springs is the best thin to do in my opinion, riding bikes around the trails are fun too. I always like Colorado Springs better than Denver, its more tranquil.

The Springs is great, nestled into the front range and no pollution like Denver. Denver is a short trip up the interstate at 80 mph for culture and sports. The dispensaries here are great!
El Paso County is known to be religious (ug) and concervitive but they voted to keep MM dispensaries open here... so there you go. There are tons of things to do *but you need to get outside, it's good for you and a great way to meet people.

And the city utility signed on for solar gardens recently, bringing the option of solar for the not rich.
