Is the Ft. Worth Zoo barefooter friendly?

    Any barefooters gone to the Ft. Worth Zoo without problems?

    Sorry, cant help you there FlipFish, but certainly Auckland Zoo is really barefoot friendly, I've even done school trips with my eldest boy, as a 'mummy helper' barefoot...absolutely no problems. I'd say go for it!:2thumbsup:

    Well, we ended up having a family emergency and skipping the zoo this week. We hope to go in the near future and I will just give barefooting there a try. ;)

    I haven't been in several years, but while the staff was kind of neutral, I found that having slip on shoes for buildings and particularly spit over areas was nice.

    Also, getting from the main road or parking to the gate had foot hazards from excessive glass to cactus spines, so look sharp.
