Earth Day activites for children?

    Does anyone have a link or suggestions for Earth Day activities/crafts and are small child friendly? Thanks.

    Today, my grandkids have been painting some birdhouses that I picked up at the craft store for $1 each.

    Here in Ohio, the county I am currently in, the Local Parks district has "quest" packs with activities and ideas for children to finish to learn about Nature. This is the link to the page that lists the "quests". clicking on the quests opens a pdf of the activities and suggestions. Might give you a few ideas of things to do.

    I heard throwing them into volcanoes is fertile friendly if not specifically child friendly.
