Never used a forum before so I'll try and do things as correctly as possible. SWIM quit dropping dose at 14 and no longer is educated in any new psychedelics. SWIM would like the aide of those who would be willing to lend their knowledge of trips, dosages, and most definitely any vivid hallucinations. SWIM asks this because he is a young student preforming research on using psychedelics to be used as medications. SWIM does not want to go through the whole reasoning, just know it's for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, SWIM will try to get to the point without being boring. SWIM needs a drug that can induce extremely vivid hallucinations if used in the correct amount. The psyches SWIM knows about is LSD-25, LSA, Psilocybin, MDMA(if you consider entactogens also a member of the psyche family), and DMT. SWIM has already ruled out Molly and LSD-25 as they do not provide what SWIM's research needs, but he will still gladly hear stories of experiences on them as any info will help. SWIM really wants to use DMT in his study but it's too violent of a trip to influence. SWIM needs information on psyches, their trips, their strengths, their length, the dosage taken, and any vivid hallucinations. SWIM thanks any who can aide an ex-dropper trying to make the world see how much they have to learn from psychedelic use. SWIM understands trips, he himself has taken plenty of dose, he does not care if your explanations seem odd as he has seen extremely odd visuals himself. With thanks from a dose dropper turned psychiatrist.
Welcome, we don't use SWIM here... I apologize but I am dubious about your intentions. I don't like the whole I want to explore a drug to treat this disorder but it also needs to produce these specific effects which don't relate to treating the disorder whatsover necessarily. If you want to experiment with new drugs or whatever than you should say just say that. But MDMA has shown some promise in PTSD therapy but it's also accompanied with more traditional forms of therapy as well.
your question is not really clear. but check out 4-AcO-DMT. i've read a scientific paper where they proposed that it could be used in place of psylocybin for medical-related studies, since it is much easier to synthesize. IME, the effects that it produces are like a mix between mushrooms and N,N-DMT (the dmt you are familiar with)
First off, thank god writting swim is annoying. As for your views on what I do, I too used to believe the same, and I would get the proper licenses to preform research with DMT but being hasty has never helped in psychiatry. Honestly I had a feeling this would happen, I had some people back in high school ask me similar questions of pure interest, mainly what a trip is like, you know the normal stupid questions. I doubt there's anything I could say that would change you mind about helping me, but I'll try saying a few things for future readers. I know little of the advancement of marijuana from being illegal to becoming close to legalization in the state of Colorado, but it may have started in a similar way a researcher consulted a regular user, while DMT was a fairly need discovery,(at least to the research groups studying it at the time), one of the organizations leading in the quest to understand DMT sent out ads asking for those with psychedelic experience who could handle a new and powerful drug. Now I can tell you right now that will not happen with my research, research with psyche drugs is even more taboo then ever and finding the necessary funding to preform a test involving such a controversial family of drugs is nearly impossible. I understand why you'd have these views, the stereotypical drug researcher treats druggies like less intelligent being, sometimes even like dogs. I don't condone that, you may make the choice to use illegal substances, but you can also be an excellent source of knowledge especially when a person like me approaches, if I was rich enough I wouldn't be bothering you, I'd go ahead and waste my money trying new methods in my theory, but I'm not, I'm a student in college trying to preform research for something I've wanted to do ever since I took my first hit of acid. If it helps you and you ideals about drugs and helping researchers become famous from some bit of info you provided them, well think about this, whether it hits you or not PTSD is such a simple mental issue to fix, all I need is reassurance that the choice of hallucinogen I've made for my research won't be a waste of money. I hope you understand my intentions and I hope you realize I'm still a dose head at heart, perma-fuck is forever. I don't care how much fame or money I make from this if any at all. Even the most hardcore of trippers understand wanting to help not just private patients but soldiers direct from war to become more mentally stable
I really do have to thank you guys even though it's just two of you and one was just offering their negative opinion I'm at least glad I got re-aquainted with people who aren't afraid to explore the depths of their own minds. I'd be doing some very "extensive" research if I didn't have so much to lose from being caught. I'm sorry I'm a bit of a rambler with explanations, force of habit, sorry I inadvertently insulted you, it's been a while since I had to give up dose, guess I must have sounded like I just wanted to use you guys. By the way man, the psychiatric doctors are using MDMA because they believe hallucinogenic flooding can only be achieved with a drug capable of releasing mass amount of serotonin, I'm doing this because I know that there is a better way to flood a patient using psychedelics, a way that doesn't involve putting a hole in their brain. Who knows, maybe dispensarys will one day be selling psyches, actually pretty likely if I succeed, psyche floods treat almost all mental illnesses.
Actually Mdma is being used for its ability to facilitate emotional openness. The fact you think mdma puts holes in the brain pretty much says all I care to hear about your "research" Take care.
yeah, i'm pretty sure that's a myth about mdma putting holes in your brain. or only with massive overdose/overuse. i really think 4-AcO-DMT would be a good drug to use in psychotherapy. but i still don't have a great idea of what it is you want to do... find a drug that does what you want. visuals and altered thought process? and give the drug to people to see if it helps them? is that basically it?
I don't really have much input, but I am an advocate for using alternative medicines in psychiatry. I have used mda, MDMA, Molly, psilocybin, mescaline, dmt, and of course marijuana, and I feel that all of the above can be extremely useful in psychiatry. Thank you for taking on such a battle, I really wish that you can make a difference LINK REMOVED
