So I asked if the are willing to send samples and they replied "Hi, Sure, we can provide a sample with an order, but we do not generally provide samples alone." Do you think this is a legit vendor? Good review on SOS.

As far as price, here's the way I look at it:

It's all what it's worth to you. I've paid more several years ago before I knew more venders.
But, I'd say 50 trips for $100 is a good deal, even if it's a little above market price.

Recently a Hungarian vendor was closing shop. (I could probably say who it is since they are totally out of business...but I'll refrain.) They were selling grams of 2ce for something like $20 at the end...5gm for $50 or something. I think they had a huge stock but were closing because local laws were changing so they had to move it. They had great ratings on SOS too! I was really temped to PM some regulars here to give them a heads up, but I figured it would look like I was associated with them and spamming or something. I didn't get any because I have bought a few things lately and didn't want to go overboard on stocking up.

So...if you really look around over time you will find some good deals, but I wouldn't wait for them.

(Sometimes there are reasons to pay more: 25i is very cheap per trip if you buy a gram, but it's hard to handle, so I would almost suggest that people just get the blotter if they aren't the meticulous type, even though it's much more expensive.)

The price is all about the market and what various vendors are able to get for it.

The psychedelic experience is so amazing, it's really priceless.

^^ Ya, for $10/G you coulda tried a G of 2Ce in your substrate and see what kind of frankenstein shrooms you come up with.

 

In the world of hypothetical drug splicing, that would be awesome, but in the real world of science, that wouldn't really work. 2c-e is a phenethylamine and I'm pretty sure that the psylocybe enzymes will only hydroxylate other tryptamines like DET, DPT, DiPT, 5-meo-DMT, etc...

I wonder if a mix of low dose 2c-e + high dose mushrooms or vice versa would be fun though. it could be interesting. you should try it

 

That was all tongue in cheek as I know very little about chemistry. Shrooms alas, are quite rare in my circles but I'd be very interested in that combo.

 

You should put an end to that rarity and start yourself a grow-op. It's rather time consuming, but not as hard as you'd think...

 

I've been wanting to do this but recently moved into a small apartment. It is really humid where i live in fl. I guess I could do the old way just inject and let sit in attic. Or should i go ahead and try the sterile environment way? New here thanks man. Indoors are everywhere down here I just want some better strains.

 

Ok one more thing. I'm wondering about a certain supplier but am unclear the rules of the board and i can't find where to pm?? Actually a few suppliers. They seem legitimately don't look like "party" or "drug" site. Looks like straight Chm site

Hello! I have a question regarding an intention of use statement. I found a site that appears to be rather solid and I don't want to mess up my shot at having my intention of use statement being accepted. I am considering going with stating that I intend to use it to make an isopropyl alcohol solution using 2c-x to try to eradicate the lesser and greater peach tree borers that are attacking some of the stone fruit (peach, apricot,plum, cherry, etc.) trees that I have in my care by dipping a piece of wire in the solution and then digging the borer eggs out of of the branches with said wire, as I had a friend in the Horticultural field recommend this. Essentially using it as a pesticide/insecticide. Any thoughts, information, insight, etc. would be GREATLY appreciated. I was also considering including that I am a master gardener (which is true).

@ MidwestCaveman: Thank you. Just curious though, what do you mean by gm testing? Not meaning to sound un-educated, just un-informed as to some of the abbreviations people use. I'm sure I'll pick up on most of them pretty quickly.
