Psychedelic Bump XVII

that sounds wild, largeamount. certainly a large amount of DMT

i was thinking about smoking some DMT tonight actually. just ~30 mg to get my psychedelic feet wet. maybe i'll pass, and just do 60 mg when i'm REALLY feeling it.

4-aco-dmt made my brother's face SUPER red and almost purple. some of it could have been from laughing.

i can't say it enough, 4aces feels so much like DMT, like i can feel my body processing it by the same pathways or something

I was also contemplating some DMT today as well but I decided to take it easy.

 

I had a wonderful trip today in the park. It wasn't strong but it was great fun and an amazing experience. The weather today was beyond perfect. Got a nice afterglow going now.

I don't know shit about chemistry, those molecules look identical tho except for the stick man coming off the 4-aco-dmt molecule in the upper left, which I would assume is the acetoxy or acetyl stuff. So yah explain...

but it's not really correct to say that 4acodmt CONTAINS dmt. that implies that there is actual dmt in there, that you could somehow get dmt out of 4acodmt. i'm sure you probably could chemically, but that changes the molecule completely, so that one substance changes into another.

i was just accenting the fact that DMT and 4-AcO-DMT are different molecules. 4aces contains the dmt skeleton, but adding the acetoxy group makes it a different molecule.

saying that it contains DMT gives me the image of a mixture of 4acodmt and dmt.

LOL, I'm re-reading that book right now. I heard Fadiman speak at the Psychedelic Science in 21st Century meeting in 2010. A very hip, knowledgeable person. He's been around for awhile - mentioned somewhere in ~1st 10 pages of Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test.

 

Am 2201 at 2.5 gr/oz Damiana. Whew that was a nice blaze. Tired tonite now.

 

So do you like Am 2201? I was just looking at it the other day with a friend and from what we read the experiences went something like "I went to hell and killed my friends" or, "I felt like everything was made up of anxiety and I wanted to die". It really didn't seem too appealing. Plus, according to the internet, the required dose would be really low and probably hard to scale accurately.

Also, have any of you guys tried 4-AcO-DET?

Yes am2201 is good. Not for noobs or people with mental issues. It treats me great. Orally with Everclear is the best. 2 grams per one bottle (750 ml) is perfect for one tablespoon. One tblsp added to my orange juice. Pow.....

Had some wild rain, thunder and lightning last night. I have not really experienced a storm like that in years, A stark reminder of the power of nature. The nearby creek is close to flooding but today has been rather clear. Maybe if I'm lucky some cyanscens will show up, I'm pretty sure they grow around this area. I've only gone shroom hunting once and I didn't know any methods for checking if they are magic except for bruising blue.

 

@guerillabedlam: The National Audubon Society Field Guide of North American Mushrooms is the best guide I've found for identifying various fungus. It's one of the books I usually take camping with me. It also tells how to identify imposter mushrooms(ones that are inedible for whatever reason) in addition to stating the areas of the continent where each species can be found.

Pre bump for tonight. Going to a friends house and will be partaking in some 25i-NBOMe. It will be with a pretty good friend who I've always wanted to trip with. He will blow your mind talking to him sober . I will also be dosing a cute girl who I think may fancy me. There will be another person there who will probably not partake since he likes to keep it natural.

I will be dosing the mind blower and myself with about 1mg and the lady with about 500mics. Should be a good night. Weed will be involved of course
