I have heard this term in todays hip hop industry quite often and I have a little foundation of knowledge on it. I plan to research a great deal on what it is, but before I do that I was looking for a little prediscussion on what you all know about it. & If you are unaware of what it is, please ask as well. One Love
I'm aware of the Bavarian Illuminati. The term itself came about through the use of the phrase Ex Tenebris per Ignem ad Lumen, From Darkness through the fire into light. Quite a lot of prepositions. Anyway, the Enlightenment saw very logical and humanist literature from authors like Denis Diderot, Voltaire, Rousseau, et al. Well this inspired a great pride and aspiration towards intellectual thought. Thus was born the illuminati. I admit that I know much more about Hermetic orders such as Thelemites or Rosicrucians. Illuminati today exist partly in joke and partly in reality. The easiest reference you'll find is in the comical/fictional writings of Robert Shea and Robert Anton Wilson. As for Hermetic orders there are more serious and much more dangerous societies than the Illuminati. -BlkBks
The world Illuminati stems from the Bavarian Illuminati, which sprang up in 1776. In reality, it's much older than that, since powerful secret societies have always existed. Today, Illuminati is more or less the general term for the elite who wield power from behind the scenes. It's basically just the general term often used by people to describe the ruling elite.
The term Illuminati is a generic misused word . The name illuminati is not what most people think it is . Just one spoke in a wheel of many spokes .And like Rat said , it goes back Much further then Weishaupt in 1776 . Much of what you read online will be incorrect . They do exist , but that's not the top of the pyramid . However people have put that lable on it . So it stuck , even if incorrect .
Yeah, it's somewhat of a red herring. The word also has certain connotations thanks to the media and movies which tends to discredit whatever subject matter the word is used in.
The majority of the secret societies I've associated with are depressingly lame. They never get up to anything remotely as exciting as you would imagine. There are a few that are harder to understand. The Order of the Rosy Cross, for instance. Their existence is a well-known fact. Hilariously, they preoccupy themselves with metaphysical studies and speculative science. A dark end for a group once thought to contain the most brilliant minds of their age. The Thelemites are just plain demented. No need in wondering what they're up to. Positive nonsense. It's not even a proper secret society, kind of a cultish religion. The Illuminati. I'm certain there is a group of people who call themselves this. They also are demonstrably not the same group widely known as the Illuminati and the extent of their influence is dubious, imho. The extent of any of these secret societies are widely exaggerated. But if you really think that you could look up their website or research them on Wikipedia then: "Bitch, please." -BlkBks
There are people out there,,,, :leaving: But seriously, there always have been people who wish to manipulate the masses, to their own profit, and have the intelligence and resources which enable them to do so. What you or I call them is inconsequential.
Yeah, I've always had the sneaking suspicion that the most influential secret society has been hiding out in plain sight all along . . .
Hey guys, this is something I've been wondering about for awhile now. Is there anyway to figure out what groups are involved in the corruption these days?
All the Bush's and all their mates, the Mafia, some of the aristocracy in the UK, including the Royals, but overridingly the Jewish lobby. Democracy is a myth.
