Im just wondering if anyone knows of the effects of living feet away from ley lines? The road they run up is to a big hill. I also know that it may have been used as far back as the Bronze Age. Since i moved into this house a year ago, i can feel like a buzzing sensation (yes im waiting for the inevitable jokes, i just cant describe it any other way) Is it ley lines or something else? Or do i need to check into the rubber motel...?
I can't help much but over the years have met many people who ahve thought the 'Lines' are very powerful.
the major cities of the east coast, boston, new york, philly, dc, are all on a VERY powerful lay line that extends all the way to Stonehenge. these are the earths power lines. im very interested about the buzzing you hear...
It all started when i was stood outside my house in the cold. I rubbed my hands together and then strected them out, palms down. I got the most incredible surge of energy i have ever felt. I was intruiged and looked up local history and read about the ley lines running up to a large hill which now has a tower on it. As my house is on the direct path i gathered this is what i felt, particulary the buzzing/humming i can hear. I consider myself a spiritual person and my life has taken significant turns for the better, ie marked reduction in anxiety, depression, new job, friends...i was wondering if somehow im drawing energy from the ley lines...
that..is...amazing. yes you are certainly drawing energy i would imagine. imagine the possibilities! i believe me living on a powerful layline has something to do with some information i seem to receive idk!! i bet meditating and visualizing yourself pulling energy from the earth through your feet into your chi would do something astounding for you.
you could read a book on feng shui if it's making your life awesome, there's nothing that you really need to do though
wow i just felt a surge of energy. anyone else have more to add? could these powerlines be used for something more? perhaps for tell the future?
I've lived on ley lines or near vortexes several times. Still trying to figure out why I'm living where I do now though. Seems to be a void.
Out in CA... There's a vortex just outside of Ojai, CA and there was a ley line across my property in Mariposa, CA. According to a grid map I found for Google earth I'm about 4 miles from one here but I've not driven to the area and got out of the car so I haven't pin pointed it yet. Interesting enough, this line intersects a majority of the Native American Mounds in south central Ohio.
The grid map can be found here... http://www.vortexmaps.com/hagens-grid-google.php Take any of this map with a grain of salt, but I've found some interesting coincidents with it... I never looked outside the US. The grid may not be all the ley lines and not all lines on the grid may be ley lines. I found several to be shifted off by several miles... I'm thinking the whole energy grid shifted or warped at some point and doesn't fit the "math" used in this grid map. I haven't spent huge amounts of time with this... Just my observation so far.
From what I've seen the concept of Ley lines originated in Britain by Alfred Watkins in the 1920's and were conceived as trade routes laid out by surveying the landscape, there was no concept of "energy paths". Sacred sites, such as churches, were later built on the old trade routes. There is no notion of energy until the 1960's. Check out this site.
From the link you posted... This is the line that corresponds to the line that I am close to but I am further north. It also corresponds to the grid line on the map I posted above. Many of the mounds were first thought to be natural occurrences until they were investigated. It's very possible there are more mounds and also that some were destroyed for farm land. (possibly in my area and further to the north) This is what ran past my cabin in Mariposa CA. (one of the Miwok trails, as there are several) I lived less than 1/4 mile from "Big Indian Rock" or as it's known now "Granite Dome" This was a Miwok safe place they would go to when there were forest fires, some of which they ignited on purpose. It is a bare Granite hill with a natural spring at it's top. A perfect safe place for them... Unfortunately this was the place they went for safety when the Mariposa brigade slaughtered the tribe in the 1800's. A few of them escaped to the south along with their shaman. Their escape route was down the ley line that I discovered on my property and was calling "Shaman's Run" years before I was told the story of the slaughter by a Miwok elder at the laundromat in town... I was shocked at the story and how I felt this before I ever knew it. I invited her up to see the place but she would not come but knew of the place after I described where my property was. She said it would not be good for her to "return to such a place" (Her words) even though she had never been there before in person. It's a very sad part of their heritage and ancient stories. I could feel the energies easily on my property and there were several natural rocks (Huge boulders actually) that were very strong energy spots besides the actual trail I discovered... It was a very mystical place. I left behind part of my soul when I moved away from there...
For the most interesting read on the subject of ley lines and various other anomalies, check out a book called "Anti-Gravity and the World Grid." There is more to ley lines than trade routes.
