Well, I would feel pissed off at my fellow smokers as well if I found empty cig packs in nature at a regular basis. Give each other a break, you sound just as intolerant now dude. I agree about the filters though, it's cotton and not a big issue.
i can't stand ciggs though i smoke weed lol..idk like if ima fuck up my lungs i at least want something more worthwhile out of it. ciggs just don't provide that satisfaction
Not ALL smokers throw their trash out the windows.. Non- Smokers litter too.. what a stupid statement.. I want to strangle you for saying it..lol If ya dont like my smoke, walk away. No one is holding you prisoner and blowing their smoke in ur face. You have the choice to leave or bitch about it. I'm sure there are many more disgusting habits you could bitch about besides smokers. What about picking your nose and eating the bugger?!?.. now that there is more didgusting then smoking. I have been standing by myself on the street, nobody around and lit up.. then like locusts decending a hord of non-smokers apeared and walked right up to me fanning their faces making wierd noises. Talk about RUDE.. Mind ur own biz and go save a whale.
^^ Even though I smoke I jokingly refer to cigarettes as "Asshole Magnets". It's like if you light one up you attract either asshole non-smokers to harass you or asshole smokers that want to bum one off you. I don't mind sharing but if I were to give a smoke to everyone who asked for one I wouldn't have any. Stay Brown, Rev J
Unfortunately there's a whole new generation of "hippies" who think it's cool to smoke blunts (cannabis encased in tobacco). Many of these kids never smoked tobacco and went straight to blunts cause that's what their friends smoke. I am one of those Holier than Thou non-smokers because I had the will to resist peer pressure. I tried smoking once and decided then I would never smoke as it made me sick. I've always listened to what my body says, not what my peers say and do. That's how nearly everyone gets hooked on tobacco. Now when I first tried cannabis, my body said "YEAH, MON, That's the ticket!", and I realized it was just what I needed to counter the pressures from my peers and school. It enabled me to resist all the other pressures to conform and allowed me to relax and be far less competitive (and far more cooperative). I understand that cigs help many kids "fit in". You suddenly get accepted by a peer group and "look cool". And now it's blunts for many people, but the blunts addict you to tobacco, and the kids I've seen smoking them don't even seem to care, even newbies who can't handle the smoke at first. Smoking blunts will shorten your life and make it more miserable. But go ahead, you look cool and that's what counts, right? BTW, one of the reasons I moved back to California was there are far fewer tobacco smokers there (and far more anti-tobacco laws) than anywhere else. After living in Europe for 10 years and having to breathe tobacco everywhere (esp indoors in smoky coffeeshops), I needed a break! I get very sick when exposed to heavy tobacco smoke, but I guess that's still something tobacco smokers have trouble accepting, that they are MAKING PEOPLE SICK with their smoke (esp. their own children.) And if your own guilt about smoking makes you angry at non-smokers and ex-smokers you need to deal with it, and not throw it in their faces. We are not the problem and we are not making ppl sick with our habits. I do respect those smokers who do whatever is necessary to prevent others from having to inhale their cancerous smoke. After decades of ignorance on the part of smokers, some have finally got the message.
blunts are just pot in a cigar wrapper... the tobacco's taken out. sure there's a miniscule amount of residual tobacco in there (assuming you don't buy the empty blunt wraps), but so little that i can't imagine becoming addicted to it.
the wraps themselves are usually made with tobacco, but i think it's a pretty insignificant amount. i don't know many people who smokes blunts daily...
The wraps on blunts is paper made from tobacco fibers... usually stem pieces, and a whole lot of glue to hold the fibers together. @Skip... I'm a smoker but I do respect non-smokers when I'm around them. I'm rarely in public places where this would take place as I'm a hermit, but when I am I step outside and usually well away from the building. It's not being respectful to step outside and blow all the smoke back in the door by standing "right outside"... A lot of people miss that aspect.
Actually the wrapper is tobacco as well. Used to be a single leaf, now they are made from tobacco pulp. Although some are still made from leafs. Even the blunt wraps are all tobacco. Whether or not it's enough to become addicted to nicotine I don't know. I have to admit there are a lot of asshole smokers out there. But these people would be assholes whether they smoked or not. Smoking doesn't make them an ass, their attitude and personality does. There are also plenty of non smoking assholes. And for those of us who are considerate smokers, it's not fair to automatically link us to the asshole smokers. I always throw away my trash. I never ligh up in a non smokers car (even if they tell me I can). Unless I'm in a designated smoking area I will step aside away from people. I NEVER smoke around kids. Etc. etc. but yet I'm still labeled an asshole because I enjoy smoking tobacco.
See there are considerate smokers out there and they don't bother me a bit. It's all about their attitude and awareness of the impact of their actions upon others. "Assholes" rarely consider the effect they have upon others, or relish hurting others, smoker or not. The new attitude of smokers has only come about recently as a result of the massive non-smoking campaigns and the scientific studies that proved that second hand smoke is just as dangerous for non-smokers as smoking is for the smoker. Until then most smokers didn't see much danger in their smoking to others. As far as blunts go, the only GOOD news for them is that cannabis helps counter act the carcinogenic properties of tobacco, to a degree. I'd like to see a study of blunt smokers to see how healthy they are compared to pure cannabis smokers. And besides blunts are all those (esp. Europeans) who roll their cigs with cannabis and tobacco mixed. No better than a blunt, and maybe worse...
I started to speed up my metabolism the summer before my freshman year of college. Very stupid, I know. I quit when I had mono the next year for a whole month, but had a nervous breakdown (had to move home, start meds, whole thing) and literally needed the 10 minute break I got from all the shit in my head while having a cigarette. I was way too much of a mess to blaze, and underage, so cigs it was. Got me through a rough "patch" (2 years) but now I'm trying to kick the buggers.
Free is the absents of rules. Freedom is less laws not more laws. Don't you just love people who say that they are free, and or say that they are free thinkers, but run right out there and state that they are glad that there are laws made now-a-days against smoking and other things. In Cal you can't smoke in a bar. You can't smoke out doors. One thing leads to another, and it's a slipper slope. Now if we only had more laws that said that you can't: smoke at all; eat meat; pick your nose; have sex without being married; have an abortion; communicate with anyone in any way without recording it and giving a copy to the the federal government (or doing it on the web or on the phone, where that is done automatically.); own an ammo clip for a gun that fits more than three bullets (a Cal law now and that includes the cops, too); travel from one town to the next, without traveling papers (an old German law); Have a mate without government approval; Have more that one child (actual China Law); spend any money or have money change hands or buy anything at all without a computer record of it; or do anything that is free. Sheep to the slaughter. Land of the Free. LOL The joke's on you. Thanks for your help in making more laws. It's your world and your funeral. I'm an old guy. I'll be gone in 10 years. It's not my problem. It's yours. If "THEY" suck you into voting for anymore laws at all, then you're the sucker.
