Saw this on my pintrest and thought of you guys. This seems like a great idea to have on your front porch; a great way to wash/rinse your feet before you come in the house. More ideas here: http://marthamoments.blogspot.ca/2010/07/good-things-forhoses.html How do you take care of your feet? Any special treatment? Peace, -FM
That's so neat! I've got a pan of water by the front door, and a red oil rag inside the door that I change when it gets dirty.
That's a cool idea, but of course you would have to have the hose AND the hose valve on the house within reach at your "wash" area. Wouldn't work at my house because my hose is way over on the side of the house.
My valve is literally right beside my front porch steps, so I actually think I may be able to do this!
Not to mention we never even use our front door. It might get opened once in a month. We always go in and out of the house through the garage. Hey nice to see you on BRS!
I have a pair of flip flops by the front door. I slip them on, walk to the tub, give my feet a quick rinse-off, and off I go.
How do I take care of my feet? Well not with special baths.......... Clip toenails when they need it. Pull out thorns I step on. Take a shower daily. Scrape at the overgrown edges of calluses when they bother me. Why do you folks..... care, so much? I go barefoot because I don't care. My feet can take care of themselves with minimal help from me, doing special things to them seems counter productive, why not just wear shoes then?
I barefooted all over when at my aunt's and uncle's house last weekend. My feet got so black, and I felt kinda bad for bringing them inside their house... and sleeping on their couch with them :\ I hope they didn't mind... Anyway, foot care for me= flexing, to keep the arches good and happy. Don't want collapsed arches later on in life x.x And what RooRshack said- plucking out prickers and clipping nails when need be.
It is a great idea, especially with the texture of the river rocks. I have a shoes off house, and what's the point of barring shoes if I bring in all the allergens and bits that scratch on my own feet? Plus some people are not 24/7 bare footers.
