I had a dream just about a month ago. It happened maybe a week after I got a yin-yang tattooed on the back of my neck. I had wanted it for awhile. Well about a week after I got it I had a dream that a really lanky mushroom had grown out of it. I plucked it out and then squeezed the spot like a pimple and woke up.

    Any interpretations?

To see fungus in your dream represents a negative emotion that is expanding and growing in your unconscious. You need to find a productive way to express it before it grows out of control.

To see your neck in your dream signifies the relationship between the mind/mental and the body/physical. It represents willpower, self-restriction and your need to control your feelings and keep them in check.* Consider the familiar phrase, "don't stick your neck out" which serves as a warning against a situation.

To dream that your neck is injured or sore, indicates a separation between your heart and mind. There is a literal disconnect between how you feel and what you think. You are feeling conflicted. Alternatively, the dream represents something or someone, who is literally a pain in the neck.

I guess I have been feeling some internal tension building up. I think I need to slow down a bit.

I love interpreting dreams, it's one of my things ;p
Amazing what they can tell you huh? I don't know what's going on in your life but you can always talk to us. My first guess was you had apprehensions about the new tattoo.
