So is the OP a nazi or not? I couldn't really tell from the picture how it was, but the Nazi symbol is inverted and flipped, while the buddhist symbol is something different. However, the fact that people can't differentiate without jumping to conclusions is reason enough for me to never put a swastika of any kind on my body, as much as I admire the Buddhist faith. Or anywhere else for that matter.
no, i'm not a nazi. i was once a skinhead, but now i denounce all the bullshit and found a new true path
He just said, he was part of that sorta group. Ah, the folly of youth. Stuff like that is why I'm yet to get a tattoo, I really want one, but I figure I'll have to save up and go for the best damn artist in Britain.
good for you dude thats a really positive change! that being said.... either darken up the reaper or seriously look into some laser work.
Tattoo artists should refuse to do Nazi swastikas. I can't believe there are actually tattoo artists out there that would want to do them (Unless they are Neo-Nazis themselves) It's good though that you've had a change of heart and decided to get it covered up.
Because that is their job. If you refuse to tattoo someone, you lose out on income. I most def. agree with you, but you have to leave personal belief out of your job ya know
And police officers shouldn't arrest people for drugs, and DA's should refuse to prosecute for drugs, and judges should simply dismiss all drug cases. There's bigger fish to fry than worrying about who has what marks where on their body, or who's willing to put them there.
OMFG I laughed so hard I actually shit myself a little bit... I just came from a thread about humping poles and this was just too much. OP, you should have got an 8-ball over your swastika. I'm a fucking genius, I always suggest an 8-ball to people who want something covered. I could've made loads of lovely money if I had learned how to tattoo! As long as there is a tiny area of skin to put the white dot with the 8 in it, there's nothing better to cover stuff! Especially a swatika! You could get a death mask (like that mask from that horror film) with the black mouth over the mess you're calling a tattoo? Although it would have to go over your worryingly hairless nipple. You could get an oil barrel that's been knocked over a little higher up and cover up the mess with part of the resulting oil slick? Or you could get a jew being stabbed and his blood forming a puddle over the swastika? OK, that one's not serious. You could get a crow or soem sort of dark bird silhouette and position it correctly to get the right coverage? I can think of more if you don't like any of those ideas.
I go to this really awesome tattoo artist. I took my friend once, and she was talking to him about how she wanted a jesus fish tattooed on her hand. He told her he wouldn't do it, and if he did it would be in a light colour. After she talked to him more about her religion, he said he MIGHT do it. But I guess it's really about how the artist feels about it, in some cases. I know some artists won't do head tattoos. But if I were a tattoo artist, I don't know what I'd do I mean it's not going on my body....
People can be so hateful, but rarely helpful. There is a product called Wrecking Balm out now. They sell it at Wal-Mart for like $30. It wont completely erase it, but it will give the same results as laser removal, with less pain and for alot less money. I dont think your tat is so bad that I would resort to this, but I've had excellent results doing a couple sessions of flesh tones for customers who needed an old tat gone for reasons that didnt allow coverup. And in response to a previous reply on here, Ive never done a swastika, or pentagrams or gang symbols in my career. Money is not that important, and a good tattoo artist should not be so desperate for buisness that they compromise their ideaos. But in response to everyone who gave you grief about it, free speech is everyones right. Even if you dont like what they believe in. At least this isnt a bad tattoo of a swastika covering up a tattoo of a reaper.
I Don't Think It Really Matters How Old A Thread Is, If The Subject Is Interesting, And Relevent, Why Start Another Thread If You Can Just Continue On With An Existing One.... Just My 2c Worth.... Cheers Glen.
I can't imagine it wouldn't immediately occur to get some really neat travel art over that mess. I could easily imagine it being incorporated into some wide bracelets, cuffs or whatever. The artist should have known that a wizard was a poor choice. It can still be fixed...but you should just get you some travel art...and probably good runes to offset that other stuff.
It's Amazing How Many Posters Don't Notice The Date Of A Last Post, Before They Enter A New One.... Cheers Glen.
