Hi, I am Meg, and I am new to this forum... I became excited when seeing how many wonderful topics are going on and decided to join - I am particularly interested in the Free School section. I am interested in learning about organic gardening, sustainable living, communities, etc. I just bought an old RV because I love traveling, though usually I have lived mainly as a hobo, hopping freights around the country, or hitchhiking. I am now 32 and have decided to become a "rubber tramp" and explore a bit before settling down somewhere and returning to college to pursue a degree in English or Creative Writing. I would love to meet some interesting people who love reading, art, writing, etc, and who are active in community living, traveling, or activism. I look forward to meeting all of you! Meg
Welcome to HF Meg. I am sure you will find what you are looking for in friends here. I hope you enjoy your stay with us.
Good afternoon Meg! I see that you love the forum! (COOL!) Anyways, I've never left the U.S., but have been in 18 states and Washington DC. I've only been in Ohio once. That would be Columbus, between July 31 to August 2, 2010. I'm a Connecticut native but have lived in southern Maine twice. Maine is awesome in the summer, but sucks in the winter, unless you can ski (which I can't) or are close to Portland. Take care!
