The Supreme Being certainly is not how any so-called holy book written by liars has the Supreme Being. This opens up endless possibilties of what the Supreme Being will actually do instead of what would a bible's Jesus do. The Supreme Being is more than just a creator. Get that in your head. The Supreme Being most certainly has a livelihood based on something the Supreme Being supernaturally created. The Supreme Being most certainly has a favorite food. So most importantly, the Supreme Being most certainly has preferences. Think about this deeply. The Supreme Being has a personality. I'll say the personality is femanin. And the kind of personality that picks out what entirely to look like initially. So it is important to understand that the Supreme Being is not scared to have a physical appearance to come in the flesh with. And a physical appareance that the Supreme Being will show to a living person of Her liking. What do you say to all this? And what is your take on the Supreme Being?

If the Supreme Being has a personality, or preferences, it is not Supreme. To me the Supreme Being is that which encompasses the entire Universe, from which nothing is separate, and of which everything is a part.
supremacy implies hierarchy. the universe we can observe, does not. very powerful unseen things can of course exist. no problem. but not every unseen thing has to be, in order to be harmless, innocent, or friendly.
Always worship the Mediocre Being. Worshiping the Supreme Being is just asking for trouble. He's very hard to please--always expecting too much.

if this is what you believe and feel to be true, then it is true for you........ but my view differs....I was taught growing up that the supreme being is more than what can be explained in words but I think it has something to do with the energy of love, present everywhere and in everything..........perhaps the supreme being is everything and everything is love?! we will never know for sure, we can only choose what we believe and my point of view is that we should only believe what FEELS right, could be different for everyone. For me I try to adopt beliefs and a way of life that benefits me on my spiritual journey. There is a much bigger picture behind the physical realm

I'm not sure it's more (or less) than a creator but I agree with this (wouldn't call them all liars though): I have the suspicion God has not a personality though and as such does not 'do' concrete actions like manifesting himself in front of humans or judging them. Jesus has no more to do with God than us.
All religions, and thus their holy books, are right, and at the same time, wrong. Their problem is trying to express something inexpressible; Truth, Love. The "supreme being" does have a physical appearance; it's you, me, everyone and everything. The physical universe is made manifest in order for it to experience love. God is simply love; truth; the nothing that allows there to be something; the silence that allows noise. We apply traits to it in the same way we anthropomorphize animals, because we want so badly for it to be so. And some of us get so very attached to our conceived supreme being that we might say others' idea of the exact same thing is wrong.. and before long our paradise is poisoned, we separate into "us" and "them" and forget to love all.
everything we pretend to know we have made up ourselves. this has nothing to do with what might or might not actually exist, which is in no way dependent on it. or, to put it another way: reality would work exactly the same way it does, whether there were one god, no god, or zillions of them. what then, you might well ask, is the roll of belief? what is its value, its bennifit. god exists because it chooses to. not because anything else requires it to. not even because anything, even if it does, depends on its doing so. what is that to you or me? only this, that god, or whatever your belief, is something that is always there, that loves you, yes even that. if you injur yourself it is not because of making god, or some other invisible thing unhappy, it is because everything works the way that it does, independent of beliefs or even objective knowledge. but those invisible things do care. they might not always be able to do anything, any more then you or i always can when someone we care about gets themselves into some kind of trouble. but the hugs, the caring, that is what is always there. even when there isn't anyone physical in this world to seek them from. so it really doesn't matter whether you call them god, or leprichans, or buddhas or kitsuni, or anything else that is reasonable and considerate. only to try to be as nice to them as they try to be to us.
