    i love Oliver Jeffers books. His illustration is marvelous and the boy with the striped shirt is funny.

    These are ideal for 4 to 8 year olds but like I said, enjoyable for all ages!So without further ado, in no particular order, the list:
    * The Giving Tree By Shel Silverstein
    * Flotsam By David Wiesner
    * Bartholomew and the Oobleck By Dr. Seuss
    * Black and White By David Macaulay
    * Officer Buckle & Gloria By Peggy Rathmann

    For the young ones, a few I like are:

    Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney
    How Do I Love you?
    I Love You Through and Through; both by Marion Dane Bauer
    I Love You Because You're You by Liza Baker

    My 3 yo son loves Guess How Much I love you, and acts some of it out... it's very cute
    :)

    Hi. Some of my favourite are How to Hide a Lion, by Helen Stephens; Owl Babies, by Martin Waddell; The Way Back Home, by Oliver Jeffers; Where the Wild Things Are, by Maurice Sendak; and The Star-Belly Sneetches, by Dr. Seuss.
