How to make salvia,where to get it,how to use

I've already heard about this magical plant,but i have trouble finding it.I asked my mom where to find salvia and she said look its planted here:

but i dont beleave that this is it



and there are other questions,how to prepare it?
And is it better to drink the tea or smoke it?
is this harmless

There are lots of different strains of "Salvia" the one in question is Salvia Divinorum...


It's not growing in your garden.

 

You'll have to get a live cutting from someone. It's notoriously hard to germinate, even if you could ever find anyone with a seed. Just dry it and smoke it. It's too short lasting to take as a tea. Harmless, I've never heard of anyone getting hurt from the salvia. But, it's never usually the herb that hurts you, it's what you do while you're high that does it.

That is salvia on the left there, BTW, just not the active sage. That's the cooking herb. Nice with poultry.
