Over-protective controlling parents who refer to your chores as your "job"?
I have a certain time I need to be in my bed at, and a certain time I need to be up and doing my designated chores. I wake up to at least 3 lists of chores (all saying the sane exact things). I get talked to like I'm an incompetent child, who is a spoiled brat and demands material things.
I'm 23 and fucking sick of this. It doesn't matter whether I do the chores on time, follow rules, don't talk back, & cook dinner 3 times a week, I get yelled at either way.
I follow the rules, I get in trouble. I break the rules, I get in trouble.
Not to mention the double standards in this house. It's the "house rule" that computers aren't allowed in bedrooms. Yet, everyone has their laptop in their room. The only one who's not allowed to? Me.

How do I deal with this shit? I'm really getting tired of it. And therapy doesn't help, we've tried it and my parents go back to the sane shit.
Their parenting obviously has flaws, my older sister is anorexic, my brother I'd a shut in, and my other other brother killed himself at 24. Now I know why...

Obviously, if it were that simple, I would have fucking done it by now, don't you think? Nothing is ever as simple as we'd like.

With the information were given there really isnt much to say except that its time for you to move out. Do you have a job? If not, thats step one. At 23 if you aren't happy living with your parents then you shouldn't be. There's no other advice to give unless you let us in on why you cant move out. All I can say is that you need to try and expedite whatever it is that needs to happen before you can move out.

But that's the thing, I can't deal with it much longer. I almost socked my mom in the face today.

There's a very complex story behind my situation.

Basically, I can't move out because of my health issues.

    he's an aspie

find a job that you could maintain and move out...they can't keep you in their house because of your health. it is YOUR health.

Because of my health issues it's hard to keep a job. I'd rather not recover from invasive surgery under an overpass.

I have been trying to get my hands on weed forever!
Kinda hard to go pick up when when you try to leave the house you get asked a jillion questions. And if I said I'm going to a friends house, they'd call the parents and ask if I was there just about every hour.

I need to have an invasive surgery every 6 months or so on my ass. I have a months recovery time afterward. Boss's usually don't like workers who have to leave for about a month n half every six months then come back and can't work full shifts for another month.
