there are some red-violet ones that grow along some riverbanks out here; a buddy of mine and I lanced a bunch and collected the sap (which was reddish brown), and I did extractions with xylene, and hydrochloric acid; the precipitate end product turned out to be off-white, but some idiot mistakenly tossed it

I was under the impression P. Somniferum is legal to grow UNLESS you are seen by authorities milking them with a blade for your opium harvest.

I'm under a similiar situation meaning dont know shit all about growing poppies indoors but never hurts to try, from what I do know however is that instead of regular halogen lightning they should get the fluroscent, which isn't a hard thing to do even on lamps u can change halogen bulbs for fluroscent.

Does anyone know the life cycle, as in how many hours sun how many dark?
