Still can't get over therapist...

I just can't do it. She's too pretty... I just can't stop thinking about her. I tried to get over it. I know a relationship like this can't work, I know, and believe me I have tried to get over it. But how am I supposed to just ERASE someone who I told everything personal about me throughout this year?? Just pretend like they never existed? The thought of never having any contact with her again is just painful. Yeah sure, call it transference or whatever psychological term you want, I don't care. I basically fell for this woman, and couldn't and can't stop thinking about her. I had been reading about whether or not it was appropriate to hug your therapist, and got mixed answers, but on our last session I just said fuck it and asked for one and got it. She even told me she doesn't do it often, but told me to call her later on to tell her how I am. I was so desperate to contact her that I emailed her telling her how appreciative I am of her, and she replied "It's really good to hear from you. I enjoyed our work together and was sad when it ended. You'll continue to be in my thoughts." How am I supposed to reply to that? Am I supposed to reply to that? I can't decide, it seems like she was trying to close a conversation, but I just want to keep talking to her

 

Psychologist have course study on these type of mental issues. Therapist is not a psychologist rather works with a set of different personal/social problems. Legally you should not be with this person and expect to find reciprocity in your feelings toward "her."

However, when you find another person to deal with issues you find difficult to handle on your own the avenue to your hearts desire will then be cleared of any legal and moral distractions. Feelings of unaccessable sexual attraction is something we all must deal with; and it sometimes takes all our lives to get over....even with professional help.
