GLEN Just Added Another Feline To The Fold.... I Adopted An 8 Year Old Chocolate Point Birman Boy From A Lady Whose New Rental Agreement Bans Any Type Of Animal.... The Rest Of The Gang Have Checked Him Out, And Apart From The Occasional Hiss I Feel Everything Will Work Out OK. He Comes With All His Medical History And A Bloody Big Cat Tree Thrown In As Well, Unfortunatly It Is Pale Blue, But Everything Was Free So I Can't Complain.... His Name Is Paddington, And It Suits Him Perfectly.... Cheers Glen.
Hey thats great, good job giving him a place to stay! Lost one of our feline friends on Monday to kidney failure so we will soon be looking for another furry friend ourselves.
Great to hear Glen . Aren't our feline friends just great ? Mr. Paddington got lucky when you found him my friend . Thanks for helping him out . Now lets see some pics my man !
:2thumbsup: Glen. Would be cool to see pics when you can! Cool name, I used to work at Paddington Station in London where Paddington Bear did his stuff! Purrrrrfect post Mr Glen:love:
Well, What An Interesting 18 Hours Iv'e Just Had. Paddington Appeared To Settle In So Well Yesterday I Decided Rather Than Put Him In A Cage Over Night He Could Stay Asleep On The Lounge. BIG Mistake GLEN, I Awoke At 3.00am To Go To The Little Bois Room, And Paddington Was Gone. So, I Put On Some Warm Clothes,*-1c* Picked Up My Spotlight, And For The Next Two Hours Searched And Called.... It's Been Raining On And Off All Day, And In Between Showers I Searched The Shearing Shed, The Other 10 Or So Sheds, And The Old House. Drove 171 Km's Around The Farm, The Nearby Villiage, And Main Roads Up To 10Km's Away. Placed Two Classified Adds In The Local Paper For Tomorrow And Saturday, And Resigned Myself I Would Never See Him Again, As His Previous Owner Said, He Has Run Away Before, So If He Was Heading Back There, It Was Going To Be A 80Km, Very Wet, And Very Cold Walk.... Well Guess What Happened 18 Hours Later, The Little S**t Popped Through The Cat Door, With Only A Few Drops Of Rain On Him, And Proceeded To Alternate Between Giving Me Cuddles, And Eating. Methinks All This Time The Little S**t Was Under The House, Safe And Warm, And Iv'e Just Blown $30-00 On Advertising, And God Knows How Much On Fuel.... I Ask You All, What Sane Person Would Choose To Live With A Cat....?? Cheers Glen.
It's Pissing Down Rain Here,The Fire Is Burning Brightly, And He Has Just Gone Back Outside. My Guess Is He Was An Indoor Cat, And This Move Is Turning Out To Be "Paddingtons Excellent Adventure".... There Is So Much On This Old Farm For A Cat To Love, From The Old Buildings, To All The Rats And Mice In The Shearing And Grain Sheds, Trees To Climb, A Thousand Places To Hide And Watch The Birds, The Horse, And Even The Occasional Kangaroo.... Cheers Glen.
