Hello everyone!!:2thumbsup: I'm new to the site and I just wanted to say hello and give a little bio on myself here.

I'm 23 year old and I am a former Army Soldier. I have travel a little bit so far in the short time I have been on this Earth and I have seen many things and many different types of people. I would say I have lived more than most my age and it has served me well in gaining a better world perspective and maturity. I love the outdoors and learning about plants and all the benefits they provide. I also like constructing long term survival shelters in my spare time using only simple tools. I am also into crafting wilderness tools and weapons to better gain an understanding of the crafts and skills our ancestors had to obtain in order to survive. I find it highly important to know where we came from and fully understand how we got to where we are today. To know this is to truly know what it it means to be human.

I find that being in nature, I feel most at peace and anyone who has gone camping or hiking I am sure would agree. I made my own theory on life and it goes like this. Man is flawed that much is clear, Man became flawed when deciding to adhere to the advice of Satan. With that understood when man builds something it has a potential to have a flaw in it if left unchecked. I feel as though throughout time we are growing less spiritual as a whole. Just look back to the 1800s when almost everyone was seriously religious. The only relationship I have logically drawn to our growing separation to spirituality is that back in the 1800s man was closer to nature (God's creation and flawless at that) Over time we have replaced the sanctity of the wilderness with walls of concrete and grounds of pavement. This would then mean that we are surrounding ourselves with man's creation which is flawed. So the farther we get away from nature the farther from god we become and thusly become more susceptible to our own flaws that rooted from evil back in the garden of Eden. So I believe it is nature that acts like the thread that sews us close to God, after all it was a garden where we were closer to him at first.

I also believe that any religion should exist peacefully with any other and that your ideas shouldn't be pushed on someone else. What works for you won't always work for someone else. So what if me being Christian helps me find moral virtues to life and someone else takes being Jewish as theirs as long as he found what he needs to be a good person and I found what I need then together we can be good people. It's like trying to get to Pittsburgh from Erie PA. There is more than one way to get there and one maybe faster and another more scenic. How we get there is based on how we want to get there but in the end we both reach the same destination.

I have also found that people say "Yeah but I know a Christian who teases other people" or so on and so fourth and they add " So how is that being Christian" My own answer to this is that in every religion I have found there is a bad person who doesn't live to the standards. It's them as a person not the faith that is wrong. It is in our nature to be mean to others that is why there is teachings in all religions to not be like that. It takes a conscious decision to not be mean and anyone who doesn't is just giving into emotions rather than logic.

I hope to grow further by being involved in many discussions on here on many topics and I wish all to be able to do the same. I am grateful that a site like this is around and I look forward to talking with you all.
